Upgrade Instructions:

  1. First, be sure no one is running VMM on the system before you attempt to extract the files from the archive.
  2. When you run the VMMupdte.exe program, make sure the destination folder for the upgrade files is correct.  If you are running the 64-bit version of an operating system such as Vista®, Windows® 7 or Windows® 8, VMM is installed in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\RFCanon\VMM" folder by default.  Therefore, you need to be sure to extract the VMMupdte files into the correct folder and NOT into the "C:\Program Files\RFCanon\VMM" folder that is the default for the WinZip® self-extractor.  Manually add the " (x86)" behind "Files" or click the "Browse" button to navigate to the VMM file folder location.

  3. Note:  Once you have upgraded to a new version of VMM, there are additional steps to take in restoring a backup of VMM data files that were backed up prior to the upgrade!  Instructions can be found in the VMM help file in the "Restore Backup Data" section.  The latest version of the VMMhelp.chm file will be installed with the lastest update.  However, you can download the latest copy of the VMM help file in a compressed ZIP archive by clicking here (~7.3 MB).  The ZIP archive should be extracted to place the new help file into the VMM folder on your computer's hard disk.

Click here to download the latest VMM build (~24.1 MB).
